If you haven’t already done so, please submit a ticket through your school’s tech support email address. Otherwise, please follow along to give your support technician remote access to your computer. You’ll be up and running in no time!
1. First, download the SOS application. When done, open it from your downloads.
2. Next, double click the icon that pops up to open Splashtop SOS and click “Open”
3. You’ll have to grant permission for the app to run. Click on the orange “Grant Permission” box. This will open up a window with two or more blue “Allow” buttons.
4. Click on the first allow button to let SOS record your screen. This will pop up with a dialog box, click on “Open System Settings“. Then, click the slider next to “Splashtop SOS“, and click “Quit and Reopen“.
5. Now click click the blue “Allow” button for microphone access, and click “Allow” again on the window that pops up.
6. All done! Your splashtop SOS window should look like this. Give the code to your tech and you’ll be running in no time!
